The first question of the Westminster Shorter Catechism reminds us:

 

Question - "What is the chief end of humankind?"

Answer - "Our chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy

God forever." I Corinthians 10:31

 

We are called to live our lives worthily in response to the gift of grace we have recieved from Jesus
